The project Dissonant Ground (2025-) explores the chemical color and textural changes that occur on the surface of the land in riparian zones affected by floods and droughts. While the beauty of these areas, as reflected in the unusual color shifts, can illicit a profound, sublime beauty, the surfaces are contaminated as the land, water, and debris spill into the rivers, leaving deposits along the shoreline in its wake.
